This private residence in southeast Ohio was designed as a rustic retreat from the daily grind. The structure was built around a 1890s-era timber frame barn which was meticulously deconstructed, catalogued, and reconstructed on new foundations overlooking a quiet wooded creek valley. The project focused on preserving the authenticity of the original materials and structure in a way that would allow them to be enjoyed for generations to come.
